Dr Sakthivel Gandhi

Sakthivel Gandhi, an Assistant Professor-Research at SASTRA Deemed University in India, specializes in nanotechnology and materials chemistry. He earned his Ph.D. from CeNTAB, SASTRA Deemed University and a master's degree in applied chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. His research focuses on developing porous and hybrid nanomaterials for various applications, including electrochemical sensors, nano-ink formulation, lighting, photovoltaics, and biomedical (theranostic) applications. He has authored more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and has successfully created a warm white emitting device and a cooking oil quality sensor prototype. Currently, he is working on the formulation of phosphor in glass and phosphor paints.
